Super Bloom 2019

This spring provided a stunning array of wildflowers. Carpets of them. Bushes of them. Cacti fields of them. Things that have not bloomed in 10 years, bloomed. Recap Spring 2019

This spring was not all illness and stress... Scoreboard during final game Cutting down the net    One of the high points was an unexpected gift of post-season play for the University of Arizona’s women’s basketball team. We attended game after game as they built to the finals and became the 2019 WNIT Champions ! It was pretty amazing . The team rose to the challenge. It was great to be there watching in a sold out arena. Watching them cut down the net after the game was truly a memorable moment. Tucson street sculpture We could not ride our bikes at Cyclovia this year, but we did walk a portion at each end of the route. We rode the light rail in between. This stop at the university has my favorite street sculpture - the head made of letters. In the middle, we ate at one of our favorite 4th Ave restaurants, Boca Tacos . What happened?

Yes, I wrote a blog for 2 months and then had a 2 month lapse in writing and posting. My family and I had some issues with our health in that 2 months, but all are recovering now. Here is an illustration of the usefulness of the Oura ring. On Monday morning, the ring shows what happened during the previous night’s sleep period (from late Sunday to early Monday, in this illustration). I woke up early Monday morning and began vomiting and having diarrhea. The illness is reflected in the raised body temperature and low HRV of the previous night.
